This form is for bookings only - you can not use it to check availability. Here is why

Mawar Homestay lies at the western tip of Pulau Arborek and offers two bungalows and spectacular sunset views. Each two room bungalow is close to the beach and has sea views to Gam.

Bedding in each room consists of mattresses on the floor with pillows, bolsters, sheets and mosquito nets and each room has a room light switch, power outlets and a small table.

Bungalow verandahs have a table and bench seating and Mawar has also strung some net hammocks between the coconut palms and provides a beachside shelter with table and benches for relaxing at.

Meals at Mawar Homestay are served in a sand floored dining shelter that also has sea views, and coffee, tea and drinking water are provided there free of charge.

All guests share Mawar’s two room, concrete floored bathroom building. One room is the dip mandi bathroom, the other has a raised squat toilet.

Electricity is provided by generator from sunset to around midnight. There was only a weak and variable mobile phone signal available at Mawar Homestay when we visited in June 2016 – a data connection wasn’t possible.

Mawar Homestay is on the outskirts of Arborek village where basic supplies and cold drinks can be purchased and diving is available at Arborek Dive Shop.

Only a little English is spoken at Mawar Homestay, but an English speaker can easily be found in the village in the event of communication difficulties.

We stayed 4 nights here at Mawar Homestay. Very nice and friendly family, especially the kids!! Dodo and Yoda were a delight to be around. Well mannered and happy boys! They will be the guides of Mawar in the future! Nice food and the best doughnuts for breakfast!! The snorkeling was amazing and so was our trip to manta point. The only negative point were the numerous amounts of mice at night. If they could get maybe 5 or 6 cats to patrol the area, i think it would control the situation ;). Thank you to the family for having us and we will see you again soon! To my little brothers Dodo and Yoda…..keep doing what you guys are doing. Fabulous kids with amazing hearts. You two are incredible and hold a special place in my heart. I can’t wait to see you two again! Best of luck to everyone at Mavar! David and Lizette (Spain)
