Details
Lalosi Homestay lies on the southern shore of Pulau Arborek.
Six over water bungalows are available. The bungalows have locking doors, glass windows and raised beds. Sheets, pillows, bolsters and mosquito nets are provided.
Bungalow verandahs have panoramic ocean views and are furnished with a table, chairs and a hammock.
Guests share a four-room bathroom building on land. Two rooms have western-style toilets, and two have bucket bathing and showers.
Meals are served in Lalosi’s dining room. Drinking water, tea and coffee are always freely available there for guests.
Electricity is a mix of village supply and generator, and is usually available 24 hours a day. Telkomsel’s Arborek tower provides a strong 4G signal.
Lalosi Homestay is a two minute walk from Arborek village where basic supplies and cold soft drink can be purchased, but please take any inorganic waste like plastic, dead batteries etc away with you when you leave. There is no safe way of disposing of this kind of trash in Raja Ampat without causing pollution and contributing to the growing rubbish problem in the islands.
Basic English is spoken at Lalosi, so bringing a phrasebook or translation app will help enrich conversation if you don’t have any Bahasa Indonesia.

Lalosi Homestays offers transfers by longboat or speedboat. To specify a preference, you will need to contact Lalosi. (Contact details are provided in booking confirmation emails.)
Waisai transfers

Activities
Lalosi Homestay is situated on the edge of Arborek village, which has a jetty famous for its diving and snorkelling sights. Cultural performances are often staged in the village for guests of visiting liveaboard and cruise boats and local crafts are made for sale there.
Arborek is a pretty village and offers plenty of opportunity for social interaction. Arborek Island is quite small and can easily be fully explored in a couple of hours.
Lalosi can provide any kind of sightseeing and snorkelling tour you want to do.
Diving and snorkelling
Diving is available at Lalosi Homestay in conjunction with Arborek Dive Shop. Arborek is the closest you can stay to the famed attractions of Manta Point and Manta Sandy and the island is also handy to Piaynemo and the Pam (Fam) Islands for those wanting to explore further afield.
The beach at Lalosi gives way to weedy shallows and then coral as you move away from the shore. Good snorkelling can be had at the door, but the village jetty is where the real action is.
Snorkelling and sightseeing trips
Lalosi Homestay can provide trips to wherever you want to go, including the remote Wayag and Sayang in northern Raja Ampat.
