Details
Arborek Dive Homestay offers five private, over-water bungalows on the southern shore of Pulau Arborek.
All bungalows sleep two on raised beds. Mosquito nets, sheets, pillows and bolsters are supplied. An extra mattress for a third guest can be provided if needed.
Meals at Arborek Dive Homestay are served in a dining room located on the beach.
Guests share a two-room bathroom building. A western style toilet occupies one room, and bucket bathing is available in both.
Plenty of shady relaxation is provided at Arborek Dive Homestay, with a number of beachside shelters, seating and hammocks set in the shade of the beachside trees.
Electricity is from village supply and is usually available at all times except from 0700 to about 1000. Telkomsel’s Arborek tower provides a strong 4G signal.
The homestay lies on the outskirts of Arborek village, where you can purchase basic supplies and cold drinks.
English is spoken at Arborek Dive Homestay.
As everywhere in Raja Ampat, you need to take your inorganic rubbish away with you to ensure it doesn’t wind up in the sea.
Transport / Getting there
Transfers between Arborek Dive Homestay and Waisai can be by either speedboat or longboat. Transfer prices below are one way and are shared by boat passengers. Longboat: IDR 1,000,000 (4 passengers max) Speedboat: IDR 2,500,000 (7 passengers max)

Activities
Diving with Arborek Dive Homestay
Arborek is a fantastic location for both snorkelling and diving, and provides the closest accommodation to the famed Manta Sandy, where you can snorkel and dive with Mantas. The waters beneath the Arborek jetty are full of fish and colourful soft corals bloom all over the jetty pilings. Be sure to bring your snorkelling gear!
Arborek Dive Homestay offers dives for IDR 600,000 per person per dive, including equipment hire.
Dives are available for IDR 500,000 per person per dive if you have all your own equipment.
Dive cost is all inclusive of boat and guide costs for local (Arborek/Mansuar/Kri) dives.
Add IDR 2,000,000 boat cost for Batanta or Piaynemo/Pam Islands dives. (Boat cost is shared by up to max of four participants)
Dives are guided by Karlos Dimara, a qualified Rescue Diver. Maximum size of diving group is five. (Four divers plus guide.)
