  • I had such a beautiful stay at Naviza Homestay.
I was travelling alone, and from the very beginning I felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of.
Navitza is a new homestay, very simple and authentic and everything is thoughtfully looked after.
It’s comfortable, clean and very well cared for, with all the little details that make you feel at home. The whole homestay is kept really clean, and I was especially impressed by the bathroom and shower. They are in excellent condition, and always clean , which I really appreciated and it’s quite rare at the Raja Ampat in general .
The food was DELICIOUS , and the guys running the homestay are honestly some of the kindest people I met during my time in Raja Ampat . They have such a lovely energy. They are attentive and helpful, but also very discreet, so you never feel like they are invading your space.
They really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Every day they brought us freshly picked coconuts, and one day they even went fishing especially for us. It’s these simple gestures that made the stay feel so genuine and special.
One small thing to know before coming: the guys speak very little English. But they make such an effort to communicate and make themselves understood, and somehow you always manage to understand each other! I would just recommend downloading Google Translate before you arrive, it definitely can make communication easier.
The location is also wonderful for exploring the Fam Islands. I was there in August, when it can be quite windy, and Naviza is nicely protected, which made a big difference. The reef right in front of the homestay is beautiful too, so you can simply walk into the water and enjoy some amazing marine life.
There is no Wi-Fi, but with a Telkomsel SIM card the reception is excellent. And honestly, I think not having Wi-Fi is part of the charm. Naviza is a great place to put your phone down, disconnect a little, enjoy the sea and nature, and recharge your batteries.
One of my favourite memories was our last evening. There was another couple staying in the hut next to mine, at the same homestay, and it was the last night for all of us. The guys made us a bonfire and put some music on so we could have a little goodbye evening together. We ended up having such a lovely night just sitting around the fire, listening to music and enjoying each other’s company. A really beautiful evening.
I really loved my time at Naviza. It’s the kind of place where you arrive as a guest and leave feeling like you’ve been looked after by friends.
I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, simple and authentic place to experience the Fam Islands. And I would definitely come back. ❤️

  • 100 % incroyable !!!! Meilleure nourriture depuis notre séjour sur raja Ampat ! Allez y les yeux fermés, les locaux se plient en 4 pour vous satisfaire

  • Don’t be deterred by the lack of reviews: Naviza Homestay was only added to our website today.

It’s very difficult for new homestays to attract guests.

If you’d like your holiday spend to really make a difference, then please do take a chance, and then be the first to leave a review for Naviza’s family 🙏😊
