Details

Yenmankankan Homestay shares an idyllic Piaynemo location with neighbouring Gloria Homestay.

Three private bungalows are available. All sit in the shade of beachside trees.

The bungalows sleep two on mattresses on the floor. The usual bedding and mosquito net are supplied, and an extra mattress can be provided if needed.

Meals will be served on bungalow verandahs until Yenmankankan finishes construction of their beachside dining room. As at all homestays, free drinking water and tea and coffee making supplies are provided for guests..

Guests share a small bathroom building that provides a western-style toilet and dip mandi (bucket) bathing.

A weak and variable 4G signal is received at Yenmankankan Homestay. It may not always support a data connection. Electricity is supplied by generator and is available from sunset to around midnight.

Only a little English is spoken at Yenmankankan Homestay: Bringing a phrasebook or translation app will make communication a lot easier.

The nearest village is Saukabu, which is about twenty minutes away by Yenmankankan’s longboat. Be sure to stock up with anything you consider essential, because local villages only have basic supplies available.

Safe rubbish disposal is unavailable on any of the Raja Ampat islands, so if you want to avoid contributing to the trashing of paradise, please take all the inorganic waste you create away with you when you leave.

Transport / Getting there

Waisai pickups and dropoffs cost IDR 2,500,000. Transfers are by longboat capable of carrying 4 passengers. Transfer cost is shared by passengers.
