Details
October 2022: Marine Guest House was formerly known as Divemarine Homestay. In 2022, Ampi relocated his homestay from its original site near Pam Village, to a quieter spot on the adjacent ‘big island’.
Marine Guest House offers four large private bungalows on the southern shore of Pulau Fam, near the village of Saupapir. The bungalows sleep 4 people.
Bedding includes sheets, pillows, bolsters and mosquito nets. The bungalows all have a covered verandah with chairs and a small table and wide ocean views.
Meals at Marine Guest House are served in a beachside dining room. Drinking water, tea and coffee are always freely available to guests there.
Guests share bathroom facilities. The bathroom building has two rooms, each containing a western style toilet and dip mandi (bucket) bathing.
Electricity is supplied by generator and is available between sunset and midnight only. Marine Guest House usually receives a strong mobile phone signal which is capable of supporting a data connection.
Basic supplies can be bought in Pam Village, which is a short boat ride away.
Divemarine Homestay owner Ampi speaks good English.
As everywhere in Raja Ampat, any inorganic trash you leave in Pam will remain there to contribute to pollution in the islands, so it’s always best to take any that you make away with you when you leave.

Activities
Diving
Marine Guest House has an on-site dive center, with enough equipment for 8 divers at a time.
Up to 3 dives per day can be provided.
Dives cost IDR 550,000 per person per dive. Depending on the dive site, additional boat transport costs may apply.
Beaches and snorkelling
The Pam islands are a group of low sand cays that have the best beaches we’ve seen in Raja Ampat. Beaches where the sand slopes away into the ocean so there’s no risk of walking on coral when you enter the water. Marine Guest House is less than a kilometre from some fabulous uninhabited jewels just perfect for beach picnics, reef snorkelling and lazing the day away in those fabulous azure waters.
Marine Guest House can organise snorkelling trips to all the secret Pam attractions as well as Piaynemo, Melissa’s Garden and anywhere else you might like to go.
In addition to snorkelling, long walks can be made on Pam Island. There are also attractions like the crocodile-inhabited Yellow Lake.
See our Pam Islands page for an overview of the Pam/Fam Islands and their attractions.
