Details
Fam Wall Homestay occupies a tiny island near Keruwo, just east of Piaynemo.
One private over-water bungalow and a 2-room, over-water family bungalow are available.
Note that the family bungalow rooms can be separately booked: If you want both rooms, then select “2 x Room in a bungalow” on the booking form above.
All bungalow rooms sleep two on raised beds. Mosquito nets, sheets, pillows and bolsters are provided, and bedding for a third person can be provided if needed.
All bungalows have verandahs with ocean views, and electric fans, chairs and small tables are provided.
Meals are served in Fam Wall Homestay’s over-water dining room. Drinking water and tea and coffee making supplies are always freely available to guests in the dining room.
Guests share a two-room bathroom building on land. One room has a western style toilet. The other has two showers, and dip-mandi (bucket and ladle) bathing for times when the electricity is off and the water pump not working.
Electricity is supplied by generator, and is available from sunset to around midnight.
Fam Wall Homestay receives a weak and unreliable 4G phone signal. A slow internet connection is sometimes possible, but guests should be prepared to be offline during their stay.
Very little English is spoken at Fam Wall Homestay. Be sure to bring an offline translation app or phrasebook to ease communication.
Saukabu village on Pulau Pam is a fifteen minute boat ride away, and basic supplies can be purchased in shops there.
Please be aware that, as everywhere in Raja Ampat, there is no way to properly dispose of inorganic waste at Fam Wall Homestay. To avoid contributing to the trashing of paradise, all homestays ask that you take all your inorganic trash away with you when you leave.
Transport / Getting there
Transport between Fam Wall Homestay and Waisai is by longboat and costs IDR 2,500,000 each way, shared by passengers (max 4).
