Details

Batanta Paradise Homestay is located on Dayan Besar, a peninsula near the western end of Batanta.

Two nicely appointed beachside VIP bungalows are available. (VIP bungalows have ensuite bathrooms.)

The bungalows sleep two on mattresses on the floor. The usual mosquito net and bedding are provided, and room light switches and power outlets for charging devices are fitted. Electric fans are also installed. Bedding for a third guest can be provided if needed

The tiled ensuite bathrooms have showers and western-style toilets.

Bungalow verandahs have ocean views, and are equipped with chairs and small tables.

Meals are served in Batanta Paradise Homestay’s beachside dining room. Drinking water, and tea and coffee making supplies are always available there free of charge.

Electricity is provided by generator and is available from sunset to around midnight. If you are willing to pay for the extra fuel required, electricity can be provided as needed.

Batanta Paradise Homestay only receives a weak and variable phone signal. An internet connection is sometimes possible, but you should expect to be offline while at the homestay.

You should also bring any supplies that you can’t live without: The nearest village is a twenty minute boat ride away, and only very basic supplies are available there.

Please do take all your inorganic rubbish away with you when you leave. There’s no safe waste disposal in Raja Ampat. Any plastic, batteries and other inorganic waste you leave behind will definitely contribute to the trashing of paradise.

Only a little English is spoken at Batanta Paradise Homestay. If you don’t have any Bahasa Indoneisa, then bringing an offline translation app or phrasebook is highly recommended.
