Details

Papua Experience Homestay Raja Ampat is located on Dayan Besar, a peninsula immediately to the south of Pulau Dayan at Batanta’s western end.

Two beachside private bungalows are offered.

The bungalows sleep two on mattresses on the floor. The usual mosquito net and bedding are provided, and room light switches and power outlets for charging devices are fitted.

Bungalow verandahs are equipped with chairs and small tables, and have views across the strait to Dayan Island.

Meals are served on bungalow verandahs at Papua Experience Homestay Raja Ampat. Drinking water, and tea and coffee making supplies are provided there free of charge.

Guests share a two room bathroom building. Western-style toilets, bucket bathing and mirrors are provided.

Electricity is provided by generator and is available from sunset to around midnight.

Papua Experience Homestay Raja Ampat only receives a weak and variable phone signal. An internet connection is sometimes possible, but you should expect to be offline while at the homestay.

You should also bring any supplies that you can’t live without: The nearest village is a twenty minute boat ride away, and only very basic supplies are available there.

It’s especially important at a remote homestay like Papua Experience that you take all your inorganic rubbish away with you when you leave. You’ll definitely be contributing to the trashing of paradise if you don’t.

Only a little English is spoken at Papua Experience Homestay Raja Ampat. Bringing an offline translation app or phrasebook is recommended if you don’t speak Bahasa Indonesia.
