    Details

Senja Homestay lies on Pulau Pam’s southern shore.

Two private over-water bungalows are available.

The bungalows sleep two on inner spring mattresses on the floor. The usual bedding and mosquito nets are supplied, and all rooms have electrical outlets and room light switches.

Meals are served in Senja Homestay’s over-water dining room. Free drinking water and tea and coffee making supplies are always available for guests there.

Guests share a three-roomed bathroom building. One room has a western toilet, one room a raised squat toilet, and the third room has ladle and tub bathing.

Senja Homestay receives a strong 4G phone signal, and data connections are usually possible. Electricity is supplied by generator and is available from sunset to around midnight.

Only a little English is spoken at Senja Homestay, so bringing a translation app or phrasebook is recommended.

Saupapir village is about a ten minute walk away. Be sure to stock up with anything you consider essential, because local villages only have basic supplies available.

Safe rubbish disposal is non-existent in Raja Ampat. Please do take all your inorganic trash away with you when you leave. Leaving it anywhere in the islands will only contribute to the trashing of paradise.

    Transport / Getting there

Transfers between Waisai and Senja Homestay are by longboat which can carry up to 4 people.

The trip cost is IDR 2,500,000 and is shared by passengers.

Pam harbour transfers (for the public boat below) cost IDR 200,000

    Activities

Be sure to bring snorkelling gear, as there are many excellent snorkelling sites around Senja Homestay.

Saupapir village is a short walk away, and walking paths connect Saupapir to Pam’s two other villages, and to a jetty in a bay on the northern side of the island.
