Irene Homestay offers four VIP beach bungalows on Mios Ba in the Pam Islands. (VIP bungalows have ensuite bathrooms.)
The bungalows sleep two on raised beds. The usual mosquito net and bedding are provided, and room light switches and power outlets for charging devices are fitted.
Bedding for a third guest can be provided if needed.
Meals are served in Irene Homestay’s beachside dining room. Free drinking water, and tea and coffee making supplies are always available there..
Electricity is provided by generator and is available from sunset to around midnight. (If you are willing to pay for the extra fuel required, then electricity can be provided as needed.)
Irene Homestay usually receives a half strength phone signal. With a Telkomsel SIM, a 4G data connection is sometimes available.
There are no shops on Mios Ba, so bring all your essentail supplies with you. Pam village is about fifteen minutes away by boat. Basic supplies can be found in village stores there.
Please do take all your inorganic rubbish away with you when you leave. As everywhere in Raja Ampat, there is no safe local waste disposal. Any plastic, batteries and other inorganic waste you leave behind will only contribute to the trashing of paradise.
Only a little English is spoken at Irene Homestay: If you don’t speak Bahasa Indonesia, then bringing an offline translation app or phrasebook will greatly ease communication.
Transport / Getting there
Waisai transfers are by longboat. A single transfer (from OR to Waisai) costs IDR 2,500,000
The cost is shared by passengers (max 4).
Public Boat to the Fam Islands
If you have plenty of time, you don’t mind a bit of discomfort, and you want spend as little as possible on transport costs, then there are cargo boats that you can use to get to the Fam Islands. (Obviously, if you are going to arrive on the cargo boat, then you don’t need to request a Waisai pickup when submitting the booking form above.)

Irene Homestay can provide any kind of local snorkelling or sightseeing trip that you want.
The homestay is centrally located to all the Pam Island attractions like Piaynemo, Batu Rufas, Andau’s mantas and local villages.
