Stay Raja Ampat is the website of the Papuan community organisation PERJAMPAT (Perkumpulan Penggerak Usaha Dan Penghidupan Masyarakat Asli Raja Ampat – The Association of Indigenous Community Entrepreneurship and Livelihood in Raja Ampat, or, much more simply – the Raja Ampat Homestay Association.)
We welcome homestay and guide reviews, questions, suggestions and article contributors. You’re invited to Stay Raja Ampat. Here’s how to get involved:

- Do you own an eco-tourism business in Raja Ampat or know of one not listed here that should be? Please contact us so we can add it.
- Do you have other information you think should be on the site or suggestions for improvement? Please let us know – you’ll make our day :)
- Would you like to provide input to the decision making process of Papuan ecotourism operators in Raja Ampat? Please complete the survey linked below.
We want to do the best we can to help both the people of Raja Ampat and travellers keen on visiting the islands, but we don’t live there and keeping in touch with folks in the islands is problematic. We’d love to hear from you if you’ve just visited the islands – or are lucky enough to live and work there – so please feel free to contact us by the method of your choice to let everyone know what’s happening.
Comments & reviews
We’ll publish all constructive feedback and comments. Recommendations, criticism and news are all welcome. While it’s great to be able to spread the word about the good stuff in Raja Ampat, we’ll not be doing anybody any favours by editing out news of when things go wrong, so tell it like it is!
All of our site pages are open to comment and the homestay pages also allow you to assign a star(fish!) rating to an establishment when posting a review. All homestay reviews and feedback posted on Stay Raja Ampat is forwarded to the homestay concerned and is highly valued by operators doing their best to improve their facilities and services.
Raja Ampat ecotourism survey
If you’ve visited Raja Ampat, whether as a guest of homestays, liveaboard boats or resorts, here’s your opportunity to provide feedback directly to the operators of those services. A sustainable, locally-owned ecotourism industry is the foundation of conservation efforts in Raja Ampat and responding to this survey is a great way to contribute to the preservation of the island environment and the way of life of the people who live there.
